@superheat , Ken, Best thing I can suggest is for you to know what the phones requirements are,as far as charging needs. Then if you see one you like and it meets the requirements, check the ratings/reviews.

I personally have one of these mounted to the gas tank of my bike .

Ive had it a for about 6 months and the only issue is a user one not a product one. I keep forgetting to leave it out to charge. Its great on bike tours as I dont have a charging port on my bike and I use my phone as a gps and for tunes so I tend to just leave it plugged into the phone (also mounted to gas tank)

Also like the fact it has an led flashlight in the end ,its come in handy
