Ripped Wifi ground off motherboard

Accidentally ripped one of the Wifi grounds off of the motherboard of an iPhone 6, yet the Wifi still seems to function just fine. Is there any adverse effects or latent damage that will occur later on?

In my opinion at worse a decrease in signal strength leading to a decrease in battery autonomy. And at best nothing really noticeable.

You can live without it - a bit like loosing a toe. You're less grounded but otherwise fine.

I placed the missing grounding screwhole back on top of the ripped point and installed the wifi cover and screws back into place, does this restore ground?

Probably. And since you've probably tested it and found no difference, then you've got your answer: it works just as well.
