1 Why is there an error message on the screen?
My device is stuck on the android error screen. It won't let me turn it on or off.

Your HP Slate Tablet may need to be reset, and this can be done by holding the Power and the + Volume button down at the same time for about 10 seconds. An android error screen will appear, and using the +/- volume buttons to navigate the options, use the Power button to select the reboot system option.
