Hi,

Try the following:

Switch off the laptop.

Remove the charger and remove the battery pack from the laptop.

Press and hold the power button on the laptop for 30 seconds then release the button.

Reconnect and switch on the charger to the laptop. (leave the battery out at this stage).

Turn on the laptop.

If it turns on, allow it to boot all the way to the Windows desktop. Allow it to stabilize i.e. wait until the HDD light is no longer continually lit, then shutdown the laptop in the normal manner.

When the laptop has completely shutdown, switch off and disconnect the charger.

Reinsert the battery, reconnect and switch on the charger and turn on the laptop.

If it starts, allow it to boot all the way to the Windows desktop.

Check the charge state of the battery. If it is charging, allow it to fully charge before switching off and disconnecting the charger.
