Display assembly compatibility MacBook/MacBook Pro
Will the display assembly from a mid 2009 macbook pro 13" A1278 mount onto the lower case of a mid 2008 macbook A1278?

I don't think it will. I believe the mounting holes on the LCD panel are in different locations, and there is a different connector to the logic board on both screens.
