Spilt some water on keyboard, left fan is now loud, and sputtering.

I accidentally dropped some water on the keyboard, managing to wipe most of it off. After that, a loud noise started coming from the left side of the MacBook. I opened it up, and I found it was the left fan. It was a loud noise, then after 5-10 minutes starts sputtering like it's working, then stopping. Right fan is fine, computer is working fine a month later, just loud and unsettling. Does this sound like a simple fan replacement, or something more major? I could order the fan and do it myself, but anything more extreme will have to go to the repair shop and that will be pricy...

@salm0061 , Cody, You are fortunate the computer is working, did you take proper measures to ensure water issue was addressed and no corrosion on/in computer, if not use the 1st link below on how water damage in general should be dealt with, to save devices from harmful corrosion. 2nd link you will click through using your correct model #, which will take you to replacement guides, where it will show how to disassemble parts of the computer so you can deal with water damage/corrosion. 3rd link is the ifixit store where you can purchase a replacement fan for your defective part, again you just click through using your correct model# then scroll through the parts until you see the left fan for your device.
