Are you comfortable removing the key board ? If you are I have had some success doing this . Remove the board from the laptop. While you have it open check for water damage , signs of corrosion on motherboard , and clean them with IP alcohol and a soft toothbrush. Then back to the key board . Pour some IP alcohol on the board between the keys and swish it around a bit , then use compressed air to dry it out repeat a few times then reinstall and hope for the best .If your really ambitious you an open each key and clean the contact with the IP alcohol and the soft toothbrush . Hope this helps

Hi, 70% is better than nothing. It is not as effective as 90%+ so you have make 'totally' sure that you have removed all the corrosion and water. Allow it to dry and then reinspect it using a strong light and a magnifying glass in case you haven't done a spot properly or have missed a spot.
