The L and R buttons are clickable, but when I click it in a game, it doesn't say that I actually clicked it. It even makes the sound of a button clicking. Please Help!

It sounds like either there is something blocking the contact between the button and the board or something is wrong with the board. If you search the internet, you will find a lot of people will try to blow into the DS to dislodge any dirt or dust that might be blocking the buttons from making contact. Otherwise, you would need to disassemble and clean the contacts to see if that is the issue. If that still doesn't work, you would need to look into replacing the motherboard. There are plenty of YouTube video that show instruction for disassembly and reassembly of a DS. Hope this helps!

I can't take it apart, because I don't have a three prong screwdriver.

Plus, I don't think I have any dirt between the button.

Then I don't know why you're asking how to fix it. It might be easier for you to buy a new one.
