Still turns on and works but the picture is black screen

My camera was working fine and then all of the sudden the images started all looking like squiggly vertical colored lines

@moondog are you referring to the actual pictures you are taking or the images you see on your LCD screen? which one has squiggly lines?

The LCD screen works fine. I can see earlier pictures on my card and all the menu etc. The pictures are what are squiggly now.

Hi,

If your camera can still take pictures OK even though you cannot view them in the LCD screen, but are OK when you download them to view, then most probably the LCD screen is faulty.

Hi

It seems as though the image sensor in the camera has either gone faulty or has a loose connection.
