I also had this problem. Have you recently added a SDCard as internal storage? If so, the system has extremely slow reads on this storage device - not a problem for media files but it nearly disables the operating system. Factory reset undoes this. Either get a faster tablet with faster sdcard reads or only use SDCards as external storage will then fix the problem.

It's stating there are 5 answers and so far everything I've read is just speculation. I'm having the same issue and would like it resolved. I can get as far as no command screen but can't access menu, please help.
