Why do I get a Blank Screen on my Galaxy J320?

'I Bought this Samsung Galaxy J320 at Walmart for a Friend that Lost his Mobile Phone. Took it over to his House a Few Days Later, Took it out of the Box, Charged it for an Hour or so ,Turned it on all I got was a Buzz and a Vibration Nothing came on the Screen. Totally Blank. I took it back to Walmart about a week Later with the Receipt and the Box it came in 'to get it Replaced. They Refused to do anything for me. So Now I'm stuck with Having to fix it Myself'' I have been on my PC off and On for the Past week trying to find out what the Problem is with it. I came to the Conclusion that it Needed a new LCD Display Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly. I have No Idea what could have Caused it to have a Blank Screen it didn't get dropped while in my possession so it had to be broken before I received it from the Store. If Anyone might have another Idea of what the Problem could be I am open to any suggestions Before I spend money on something it might not need. Thank You for any Help I get.

'The only thing I can think of is it got Dropped or thrown while unloading Boxes or during shipping to the store'

Hi,

First, do not open the phone or even try to get it fixed before you check the documentation that came with the phone.

Opening the phone, (or getting it fixed without the manufacturer's authorization) will void the warranty.

The documentation should contain the manufacturer's warranty information provisions. It should tell you what you have to do to get a manufacturer's warranty repair or replacement for the phone.

A lot of retailers do not want to help because they are not responsible for the warranty on the phone, the manufacturer is.
