Hello I have (2) iPad 2 with the exact same problem..I believe. Both of them, will not turn on or charge..but i know all the components work...because I've tested them

I have a 3rd iPad I have that works that I test everything on..

So on my 2 broken ...they both have working battery's..and working lcd..being a little new to iPad repair I can clearly see a few differences..but these iPads are the same model. I'm not sure what each is missing..or why has some motherboard chips but not the other? I wondering if I can Doctor the two iPads to make 1 working one..but am confused about 1 significant ribbon cord one has...and the other isn't designed for it..I will attach pictures...you guys are awesome!

The different cords are because there were 2 style iPad 2 wifi. I snapped a picture of 2 empty iPad 2 cases, both A1395. One is what I call an iPad 2.5 since they did change the innards.

You can interchange parts on them without a problem. Its a pain taking the top apart though, which is what connects your buttons and camera to the board.

When you say you know all the parts work, how did you test that? You say you have another iPad 2, what happens if you connect one of these boards to the 3rd one?

When I try them on the working iPad they work. I'm not sure if I need to replace both the motherboards and see if that just does it? Or if there is a simpler way..or cheaper
