Why the Display is not working properly?

My Display sensor is not working at the top of the screen whereas the bottom side is still working smoothly. I am seeing Black marks on top and bottom also but topside only is not working.

sounds like the lcd and digitiser are broken in these places. you will need to buy the lcd and digitiser as one piece (not available here any more) Try ebay, they have plenty-don't be fooled by people advertising original apple - read the feedback before buying or go to a trusted local place for a spare. I bought a chinese "OEM" part which was far cheaper, does the job but took 2 weeks to arrive.
