Can you replace the Ethernet port and is the part still available?

Need to replace damaged Ethernet cable on this MacBook Pro vintage about 2010-11. Anyone know where to get parts? It appears that ifixit doesn't have a guide or the part. Thanks in advance for the help!

I'm not sure what you're talking about. I don't think you are either ;-) The ethernet port is integrated into the logic board. There is no cable.

Now are you talking about the port or a cable that plugs into the port?

Thanks for your reply! I'm talking about the actual port that the cable plugs into that's part of the motherboard. I'm sure I can desolder the port itself if I can find another part to replace it with. The part is the big question. I haven't opened it yet to have a chance to look at it directly as the computer belongs to a friend.
