Why is my screen discombobulated after I replaced the glass?

I have an HTC Desire 510. My screen cracked recently and I purchased a new one, thinking I could replace it as easily as an iPhone screen. I did successfully replace my glass after a lot of headache, but now when I go to enter my PIN to get into the phone, my touch presses the numbers wrong. For example, I go to press a 5 and it presses the 2. If I press the 2 it hits the 'emergency call' button. I've managed to get into the phone and change my PIN, but I can't use any of my apps because while the display is fine, my touch is recognized in weird places on the screen, and sometimes it 'recognizes' a touch I didn't make. For the love of God, how do i fix this?

Hi,

Have you tried to calibrate the screen to see if this resolves your problem.

1. With two fingers, swipe down from the status bar, and then touch calibration.

2. Place the phone on a flat surface, and then touch CALIBRATE.

3. After the recalibration process, touch OK

If it is not there try

Settings > Language & Input > touch input > calibration
