Touch ID fail message

I have done the following repair several times using all the same parts from ifixit :

iPhone 6 LCD Screen and Digitizer Full Assembly

iPhone 6 Replacement Battery

iPhone 6 Lightning Connector and Headphone Jack

iPhone 6 Battery Adhesive Strips

Always have success until today...I am receiving a Touch

ID fail message.

I have read many of the solutions that are posted but they seem to all be from the amature repair side.

I am looking for ideas from the pro fixit crowd.

Thanks in advance

Did it start happening after one of the repairs or at random?

You mentioned you put in a "full assembly" for screen, did you transfer the touchID button?

Try another home button extension cable and double check home button connections.

Remember that touch ID requires the original home button that came with the phone for it to work.

As home button is linked to the board.
