The engine will not turn over

Hi my name is big black 52 I have a 2002 Honda Accord I put a new computer in now the engine will not turn over can anyone help

@bigblack52 how did it work before you replaced the computer and why did you repalce it? What engine and what transmission does your vehicle have?

If the engine does not turn over at all its not the security being on . the security would allow the engine to crank but not fire. This sounds like a grounding issue. check your grounds at the battery , to the motor, to the body . Also wouldn't hurt to check the solenoid . However LPfaff is right in that once the car will crank I may not start because of the Honda security system . It will need to be programed to accept the chip in the key

@bigblack52 , Anthony, Is your security on, If you put the computer in the car yourself, chances are you may have to take it into the dealer to have computer/ ECU flashed / programmed to your vehicle. Good luck.
