Why is my device not staying on as long?

Why is my device not staying on as long as it used to? It's about a year old now. Originally it held a charge for 14 hours on stand-by mode, now it's only 6 hours. How can I fix this?

Options

The problem you describe is related directly to the battery. If the battery no longer holds a charge it should be replaced. A battery can be found here.
