When i tried to open chrome on my laptop with touch it did not work however with my mousepad and wireless mouse it did. So i checked my recipt and found that it is missing half so i cannot return. what should i do ? And i also just got the screen removed from the back and found two loose wires with tape? Can/ Where do i re-attatch them. Please help?

Try this one first and see if it resolves your Touchscreen problem. If not try the procedure outlined in the answer first and see if it works.

Hi,
By opening up the laptop you have voided the warranty.
Has the touchscreen worked before? If so then the two wires you found taped, would not be the cause of the touchscreen problem.
Were there any other functions besides the Touchscreen not working? Did the camera work, the microphone etc.?
Take a picture of the wires showing where they are and add it to your question. It may help in getting an answer.
