Light bar keeps blinking yellow

Hey ps4 controller light bar keeps flashing yellow kinda fast and won't sync unless conected with charger cord and won't stay on unless plugged in also I replaced the battery and charging port thinking it was those but it wasnt still blinking yellow. Also tried the reset button so yea I'm stumped on what to do besides going and buying a new one. Thanks for your time
