Which glue needed for a small part on the Logic Board?
I made a little mistake getting the heatsink from the GPU.
Now a transistor (or something like that) broke from the Logic Board.
I can see it was glued together but which glue do I need for this?
Thanks in advance
Is this a good question?

Used a small piece of double sided tape and it's still holding on. Will solder it when needed. Thank you

@eaglepanther - Nathalie, this is an electrical component which needs to be 'plugged in' into the logic board to do its job. Tape is not electrically conductive so the part is not doing what it was designed to do.
Frankly, I wouldn't leave it floating (taped) inside as it could create other problems if it where to shift about causing a short.

I understand your concern. If the iMac was being used as an active computer, I would never do it like this. That said, this Mac was already "DOA" and needs a new logic board. It works for now for some strange reason but isn't really being used. It became more "my toy" to try things. So this will become my "learn how soldering works" computer ;-) and if it breaks down for good... too bad
