Dropped iPhone in water and wondering if I can use screen

I dropped my iphone 6 in water and the screen appears to be working. I wondering if i could use the screen on another phone. Is this a bad idea?

The answer is maybe. You would want to clean any corrosion from the connectors, so it makes a good connection to the new phone. Also look if any liquid is stuck between the backlight and the LCD (will show up as dark spots on the screen when the backlight is on). Is everything seems to be functional after that, you should be fine using it.
