What replacement Hard Drive do I need on 27" iMac

What hard drive do I need to replace a seagate ST31000322CS that is failing in my late 2009 27" iMac, I would like to replace like for like.

If you decide to replace the drive, I would go with a Seagate SSHD 1 or 2 TB. This will give you a dramatic perceived speed increase.

You may have temperature sensor visor and run away fan if your original drive is other than a seagate. You will need (at minimum) Apple part # 922-9216 to prevent it.
