Direct wiring to car power

I need to direct wire the Nuvo 2450 GPS and cut off the power plug. There are three wires (red, black and white). Which two are power and ground? The third is for the indicator light in the plug.

twsmart did you check the way they were connected to the plug? that should give you the right way of wiring
