What to do with a bad AV Connector?
I recently bought a grubby old PSOne at a flea market for fifteen bucks. After cleaning up the chassy and plugging the thing in with a PS2 Slim power cable and a generic AV multi cable, I turned the thing on to see a really dark and discolored picture. Games appear to run fine on the system, but for whatever reason the picture remains almost black and kind of grainy. Took the thing apart, cleaned it to my best ability, and gave the AV out connector a good scrubbing, which I was guessing to be the main issue. Plugged it in, no dice.
I'm not spectaculary educated on stuff like this, so I've got no idea on how to fix it other than replacing the motherboard. I haven't been able to find anything about this issue online. Would appreciate anyone's advice!
Is this a good question?
