Hey whats up man? Sorry to hear about the problem your having. I am not doubting the repair shop that you went to but it sounds like maybe they didn't install the charging port correctly. That has to be the issue. The only reason i assume that is because they didn't need to put the battery on a universal charger to see if that was the issue. They obviously dont have a volt meter which tells you exactly where the problem is. So considering they dont have a volt meter, they probably dont have a microscope to check if the connections are proper when they changed the charging port. A lot of repair shops cut corners to make more money. But in return they get a substantial amount of failed repairs. Galaxy s3 charging ports can only be soldered and soldering is not easy without a volt meter, microscope, and the proper tools. So my only suggestion is to try and find a more experienced repair shop... Even a suggestion, I do repairs through eBay. So if you might be interested in that, the turnaround time is normally pretty good if you live in the states.

I know this wasnt that helpful but also there isnt much you as an experienced technician could do anything about. You need to have someone who is experienced with a soldering machine to fix it. There literally could not be any other explanation.

Any other questions, please ask!
