Can I change the digital turn on?

I have an iDevice switch conect to my Lasko fan, works perfectly when I turn off by wifi o siri remote, but when I try to turn on the iDevice turn on but the digital switch of the fan still off, so I must turn on pushing the power button of the fan. I would like to change that kind of digital switch of the fan for the oldest ones.
