Can I use a SSD within the x41?

I was thinking about replacing the old HDD from the notebook with a SSD since it is beginning to fail and was wondering if this would at all be possible given it's age?

Options

There might be a potential way, using a SATA controller, pay close attention to fitting and it should work just fine.
