Voltage gauge on dash will fluctuate
I have a new battery in my 2004 dodge 1500 and when i drive the gauge will not stay at a consistent reading

It may be your voltage regulator.... Check the output on your alternator with multimeter it should read about 14 volts if it fluctuates there then its your alternator but if it doesn't then its your gauge.
