All lights blinking at the same same

All the lights on my hp psc 1410 is blinking at the same time. I cannot use the printer. Can anyone help me fix this problem? thanks

Solution one: Reset the All-in-One

Follow these steps to reset the product.

With the power on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.

Wait 30 seconds.

Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.

Press the Power button () to turn on the product.

Wait until the Power light () stops blinking. The reset is then complete.

If these steps resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, continue to the next solution.

Solution two: Make sure that the control panel overlay is installed correctly

If the control panel overlay, or bezel, is incorrectly installed, the product might indicate a false carriage stall error condition. If the product has not been set up before, use the following instructions to make sure the control panel overlay is installed correctly.

If you already installed the control panel overlay, and your printer has been working for some time, do not attempt to reinstall the overlay. Press firmly on the overlay to ensure proper installation of the overlay adhesive or pins.

NOTE:

If you have already installed the control panel overlay, proceed to the next solution.

Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.

Locate the control panel overlay, and then peel off the paper backing to expose the adhesive.

Lift the scanner lid.

Carefully line up and install the control panel overlay.

Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.

Try the task again.

If these steps resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, continue to the next solution.

Solution three: Service the All-in-One

If you have completed all the steps and are still experiencing a problem, continue to the Service the All-in-One section at the end of this document.
