Does the bootloop and motherboard has any correlation?

I bought oneplus one 64G phone on Jan 2015, I didn't have any issues with the phone. No games or any other hardware intensive app with my device. On a day, when I opened my uber app and turned on GPS, phone went to bootloop. I formated it, cleaned my OS via fastboot and adb mode (several images which are part of oneplus one), nothing worked. Seeked oneplus one remote assitance, not able to identify and asked to visit ESC (excl. service center), they told motherboard issue, as their software isn't flashing my device. I told them I able to flash various recovery images (twrp, cyngn recovery img, cwm) but not actual OS. Is it directly related to motherboard or it is a wild guess.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Might want to Google Oneplus Toolkit. It should get you up and running if its not a motherboard issue.

Flash everything back to stock. First, flash the stock recovery, then the stock OS. If that doesn't work, it very well may be a hardware issue but it sounds much more like a software bug.

Thanks for your suggestions. I have tried the option above. For me, I look its unstable. Like, phone gets working only when its connected via AC power outlet. If I remove it, it again goes to bootloop. I checked the battery, it seems working fine. Is it battery driver issue or capacitor issue.
