My iPhone 5s went mad?

My iPhone 5s went mad!!! While everything was good with no problems, suddenly began to presses and opens the apps itself, it writes gibberish in messages, it makes calls and stuff like that! It stops only when I lock it down or when I press many times the home button in response to openings of apps trying to press to open. After this, works normally from 10 minutes to 2-3 days and then again starts the same!!! The phone is (was) in a very good condition with case and tempered glass. It is out of warranty and updated with iOS 10.0.2 and you can add that I have done many times , hardware reset and open-close moves.

There are 3 reasons to this:

- Screen has gone faulty and needs to be replaced.

- Water damage inside the phone near the touch screen circuit area of the logic board.

- Touch IC chip on the board gone bad.

I would check inside the phone for water damage then try a new screen, if that does not work then you may be looking at a board level issue in terms of the touch IC going bad and/or water damage.
