I was going to unmount my sd card but i couldnt find that option anymore since the new update. Is it safe for me to just take it out since it doesnt have that setting anymore ?

Brianna, You should unmount your SD card, if not able to unmount, Turn/power off the phone before removing your memory card or you can corrupt any files that might have been transferring when you removed the card and run the risk of damaging card.
