Random static playing through speakers

I'll be using my laptop and out of nowhere a loud static sound starts playing through the speakers. Turning down the volume or muting the speakers does not stop the sound. I opened my laptop and disconnected the speakers from the motherboard for now but would like to see if anyone one has a solution. Anyone's help would be appreciated thanks.

Hi Have you tried using headphones to see if the problem is with the speakers or the audio? reconnect the speakers so you know where the noise is.
