Touchscreen doesn't work

iPhone screen was broken and is now replaced... Everything works but he just doesn't want to react to my touching...

It worked before i opened THE iPhone so my question is... Is it one of THE 3 things you need to reconnect before you close it... And wich one is it?

Thank you

yes it tried like a douzend times to get it in... is there a small tip you can give me or some instructions how to put it on the iphone in a decent way? :)

i heard a clic so I went on to number one and closed the thing...

one thing i must say.. on the end of those ribbons there is always some rubber labeled with a number(isolating piece)... but with my new screen there wasn't any on number 2 so do I need to place it from te old screen on to the new because i think it is protection so when the iphone drops the cables do not come loose?

thank you very mutch

Yes, it is one of three screen ribbons- number 2 I believe. It can be difficult to get it seated on its receiver correctly.

While you don't necessarily need to put the foam back on, it certainly is helpful.

I would make sure you get everything clicked into place, then turn the phone on without putting the screen back in place- the home button will not be functional at this point. See if the screen responds at all.

If you get the screen to work, very carefully put the display back into place.

If not, you may have a bad digitizer.
