racar7516 solarization can be caused by a bad T-con board as well as a bad mainboard and of course the LCD panel itself. See if you can bring up the on screen menu. If the menu looks normal but the rest looks bad, you most likely have a bad main board. If both look solarized you have either a bad T-con board or a bad panel. The only way to distinguish that, is by repalcing the T-con bard. If that does not resolve it, then you have a bad LCD panel. If that should be the case then it is most likely a repair that will cost more than a new TV. Panels that size are not easy to come by and definitely not cheap.
