Issues with Vizio Remote

I bought my 3D Vizio in 2012. I dropped the remote last month and it stopped working. I have since purchased two remotes - the same one that was damaged - and neither of them will work. Fresh batteries, but neither will operate the TV. Am I doing something wrong? Does it need to be coded in? I've also tried two different universal remotes, and had no luck with them either!

Dustin, your remotes do have to be programmed to sinc. with TV. The manual that came with remotes should have explained this/procedure. In case you have no manual, I will post links to instructions on how to program remotes. Dustin you can also do a google search your remotes make and model# manual.

VIZIO programming codes, 1169 1168 0081 0112 0143 1011

0050 1000 1222 1322 1189 0218

0219 0220 0221 0222

Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

The remote I have now, and the remote that came with the TV are the same type... they don't have a "TV" button or a "Set" button, so I have no idea how to use those instructions. Here is the remote I have - http://oi65.tinypic.com/33bo0n4.jpg
