6S backlight problems after screen replacement

Ok so I replaced a screen on an iPhone 6S this morning and I broke the proximity sensor flex cable. I went ahead put the phone back together to wait on the sensor to come in, but after reassembling the the phone, the backlight is not working. Is this because of the proximity sensor cable being broken or did customer get a junk screen from Amazon? I've checked everything else I can think of.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Did you unplug battery and use Anti Static? If not blown Backlight Filter

Anti-Static isn't really an issue but essential to have.

I agree it's most likely a blown backlight filter as a replacement screen with no backlight is pretty rare even if cheap quality.
