Repairing Keys From The Actual Keyboard

Dear ifixit members,

We've got a lot of iMacs and w e currently use the Apple Wired Keyboard.

Some of these keyboards have just 1 key that seems to doesn't work anymore

after quite some hours of work.

My question is.... is it possible to repair this?. I would rather do this at a store. We're just curious if really do need to buy new keyboards for just one key that doesn't works anymore.

With Kind Regards,

It is possible to fix a single key. The plastic spring mechanism is very delicate. Sometimes it just needs to be popped off and put back on.

Before you buy anything new. Try taking it apart and putting it back together.
