No cellular signal. No carrier tab in settings? Sim OK

Hi folks, during my holiday in Spain my phone struggled to find any signal on the 4th day onward.

I waited to get home to see if that solved it and still no better.

24 hours later, magically my network appeared, but only for 2 hours before dissapearning again.

The Carrier Tab is also missing from settings.

I have done several resets of network settings, DFU reset and and reset to factory settings.

The Sim works fine in an older iPhone I have.

Any ideas?

I have fixed several iPhones before in the past but I couldn't really find an iFixIt article specific to replacing the Cellular antenna?

Any help very much appreciated.

Try getting the imei number by dialing *#06# you don't need to post it, just make sure it is the correct imei

Hi there, I have typed in *#06# and no imdi number then shows?

Just the *#06# disappears.

What does this mean?

The Imei number found within settings > general > about, matches the imei number on the back of the phone case.

Thanks

Maybe an Antenna problem , or if you changed country maybe the bands of the phone didn't support he network of Spain.

The phone has worked successfully in both countries at one point or another.

Maybe an antenna problem yes.

Strange how it worked okay for a few hours but then stopped again :(

Yes , i agree.Maybe it's in the "end of it's life" so take it to a specialist to check it out.
