Progress bar does not finish loading. White screen, can't use Safe M

Macbook Pro 17" Late 2011 2.4ghz

I noticed that I couldn't watch a video on my Mac so I restarted it. When I restarted it the progress bar only loaded half way. Held down the power button. Rebooted again and it loaded a little more then just a white screen. I tried Safe Mode and it makes the progress bar get up to 75% then just a white screen.

I've tried switching the memory. Didn't effect it.

I've tried switching the SSD to where the cd drive was connected and get the same results.

I've even switched the SSD with another mac and my drive boots fine on the other mac but the other mac's drive gives the same results in in my mac as my drive does.

I was able to boot in diagnostics and tested the hardware and it tells me everything is in working order.

I also tried a new SSD and get the same result.

I tried to boot off a USB drive to reinstall El Capitan. It sees the drive, I get the progress bar and well get the same thing again. Just a white screen.

The one weird thing is that I do have windows on another bootable drive. It actually boots off of it but the video looks like it's in safe mode.

I also reset the PRAM and get the BOOP sound but doesn't help with the problem.

Not sure what else I can do.

Take it to an ASP and have it tested for this issue, this should be a free test and free logic board:

This recall was the result of a class action law suit. Look at the link.

Thanks. I set up an appointment this Saturday. Hopefully this is the solution.

It was the graphics card. Apple ran their test and the graphics card failed it.

Getting it replaced for free and will have it back in 3-5 days.

That's great ;-)
