My iPhone 6 plus makes crazy things and opens apps itself

Hi

my iphone 6 plus makes crazy things and more specific, opens apps itself, sends SMS, call to anyone and if i press the touch screen on the top, then freezes.

I sent it to a repair store in Greece and they told me that is the chip that controls the touch and it is very usual to 6 plus because the metal frame is very thick, thus is very sensible to damages.

Can you help me?

There are 2 things that could cause this: A bad screen or a bad chip. I would try starting with a new screen and if that doesn't fix it, then you know its the chip. The chip does require some skill to replace.

Good luck

Thank you very much for your answer. Do you know where can i find instructions on how can i replace the chip?

The chip in question would most likely be the touch IC chip. It requires experience in board level component replacement. Need stuff like a microscope for micro soldering not really user replaceable, as the touch IC chip is if I believe correctly BGA mounted to the board so the chip is basically sitting on top of solder balls.

yea...its a BGA chip.

Here is an iFixit video that is related and shows the chip and the repair.

It is for sure not a repair you want to tackle if you are not comfortable with micro soldering.
