Battery Replacement Dimmed LCD Backlight

I replaced the battery from my iPad mini and the LCD backlight got really dimmed. I also did it on another iPad and same thing happened.

Did you take care to not reseat any front panel connectors when battery is plugged in? If not this may be a backlight IC (forgot what it was really called) issue.

I didn't touch those.

I meant the LCD and Digitizer / Touch screen connector that plugs into the logic board. Make sure that you do not unplug or plug those in while the battery is connected to the logic board or you may have issues related to backlight.
