Plugged in but not charging

Hi,
What is the model number of your laptop?
Can you prove that your charger is OK by either:
1. Using a DMM (DigitalMultiMeter) to check the value of the DC voltage output of your charger. (the output value is printed on the charger case)
2. Trying a another compatible charger to see if it charges the laptop.
