iPad LCD Protector during repair

Hi,

I run a small repair shop and have found that whenever I do an iPad repair, even with latex gloves on, i still manage to get marks on the screen - which is a massive downside for customers and has even cost me a new LCD before.

I have got new LCD's with these screen protectors on that dont leave any residue or marks and have protected the screen during repair.

Is there a way of getting just an LCD protector during repair without it leaving any marks?

If not, how do you protect the iPad LCD?

Thanks in advance

How are you scratching the LCD just by touching it?

I've fixed more iPads than I can count and I've never damaged an LCD just by touching it. Grab the LCD by the edges, never touch the glass unless you have to. If you do touch it, clean it with LCD cleaner.

Would you think glad wrap on top of the LCD to protect it from smudges would be a good idea? Just a thought.

Def not. Static and LCDs don't mix.
