Vizio M551d-A2 will not turn on

My tv is plugged in to a power strip along with vizio sound bar, dish receiver and two dvd devices, so there appears to be power going to the tv because those devices light up.

I cannot get the TV to turn on with the remote or the button on the lower left side.

We were watching the TV for awhile then turned it off as we usually do when not watching. The next day it would not turn on. Never a problem until now.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Sometimes there is an issue with the power board on these tvs, have a look at it by taking the entire back panel off. once you have the panel off look for the power board, it is the one that the power plugs into. What you are looking for is bulging capacitors, they look like cylinders with a bulge on the top (google if you want a picture). If you find any of these they will need to be replaced. Report back if you find any with some pictures so I can hopefully help with replacement. Also while you have the back open you should also look for any fuses, check the fuse with a multimeter to ensure they have continuity, if not they are blown and will also need to be replaced.
