Unable to Detect Paper Edge

My Kodak printer (all in one 2170), want print anymore. Keep getting error message 3520 "Unable to Detect Paper Edge". A Kodak support representative conducted a series of troubleshooting steps (rebooted the computer and printer, checked for software updates for printer and firmware).

However, the Kodak representative was unable to resolve the issue; He said it was a hardware issue, and said I should buy another printer, and made an offer to sell me one.

I want to know if anyone has experienced this issue, and was what you did to resolve the issue, or provide information about where I can obtain parts and or repair?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hello Marshall, I left the printer unplugged overnight. When I plugged it in this morning, I got the same error message. "unable to detect paper edge), error message 3520.

Ok, you could try turning it on and holding the stop button.

If that does not work you will have to get a new printer.
