Replacing fuel complete pump

I need instructions on replacing the complete fuel pump and fuel filter of Grand Cherokee

Fuel filter is accessible from below (its just in front of the fuel tank.

To replace the pump itself….

Remove the back bumper, hitch and skid plate around fuel tank.

Best to have car rear as high as you can get on jack stands.

I lowered the tank with a floor jack (I think I kept some bolts in the front of the skit plate…. not sure now.

I remember tilting the tank down. From there its easy to get to the fuel pump.

We had a slow start issue - it would crank a bit and then fire. Especially if you let it sit an hour or so. Turns out it WASN’T the fuel pump. The fuel filter was leaking pressure back into the tank. Replace fuel filter first!
