Unresponsive screen when installed

My screen works fine when not Clipped in and screwed in, but when I push it down and clip it in it becomes unresponsive. If you keep the phone open and pull it it a tiny but it works, but pushing it in and clipping it in renders it useless. I've resat the connectors 20+ times but I don't know.

If the front display ribbon cables feel like they clip in 100% fine and you have tried cleaning both connection points with 99% isopropyl alcohol and have tried holding the power button with the battery unplugged for 10 seconds.

Then I think it's safe to say you got a faulty screen. I had a iPhone 5S screen that did this exact same thing. Is the housing of the iPhone 6 as dented in or bent in any way that makes the screen not sit flush?

Not to a serious degree. I mean it has drop marks and small dents but no big deal. Nothing to be in the way of the screen

what does holding the power button with the battery unplugged do?? I'm curious i've never heard that method.

Drains any residual power in the circuit (or any connected internal components) of the phone. It has fixed an issue once where the touch screen was behaving erratically on a new screen.

It's a brand new screen

As someone else has said, you have a problem with the flex cables, they are torn inside, therefore you need to install a new screen on the device in order to fix this issue.
