Can I change the display with early 2013 version?

Hi, I was grabbing my laptop by the screen and it cracked!

I guess it's just getting too old.

I was checking ebay and I saw a 2013 version LCD for about 200e.

Can I replace the screen on a 2011 15" macbook pro with 2013?

If not which display assembly can I replace with I would rather a high resolution one.

I need the complete assembly.

As to grabbing your system you do need to be more careful as any system grabbed in the wrong way will crack the display or worse!

No, you can't just use any display assembly as Apple changed the interconnections. You'll need either a gloss or anti glare display for your series. Here are your possible choices:
